The 3M™ CFS8812-ELXS is a replacement cartridge used with the discontinued CFS6000 & CFS7000 Series of food service filtration systems. The CFS8812-ELXS twist-in replacement cartridge enhances water clarity, reduces sediment, and is highly effective in reducing chlorine, bad taste and odors. The filter also reduces water borne cysts and hard water scale.
The CFS8812-ELXS features an anti-scale inhibitor that prevents restaurant equipment damage. The filter has a 0.5-micron rating and a chlorine reduction capacity of 14,000 gallons with a flow rate of 1.67 gpm. It also features a Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) design that facilitates easy installation and quicker change out of used cartridges.
The CFS8812-ELXS is made of FDA CFR-21 compliant and/or NSF certified materials.
The 8000 series does not require activation, reducing installation time.
